Khawatir LG G6 Lebih Sukses, Samsung Rilis Iklan Galaxy S8

Peluncuran iklan TV Galaxy S8 di Korea Selatan (Korsel) dinilai sebagai bentuk kekhawatiran Samsung atas kesuksesan LG G6. Samsung diprediksi berusaha mencegah LG mendominasi pasar smartphone premium di negara tersebut. 

Kehadiran iklan Galaxy S8 di TV cukup menarik perhatian. Pasalnya, Samsung merilis iklan itu, dua pekan sebelum smartphone teranyarnya diumumkan. Sehingga muncul prediksi, iklan tersebut sengaja dirilis untuk menjegal dominasi LG G6.

Ditambah lagi, LG beberapa waktu lalu mengumumkan bahwa pesanan G6 telah mencapai lebih dari 30 ribu unit, padahal pre-ordernya baru dibuka selama empat hari. 

"LG G6 terjual lebih dari 20 ribu unit pada hari pertama penjualannya, lebih tinggi daripada pendahulunya. Angka ini juga dua kali lipat dan empat kali lipat dari Galaxy S7 Edge dan Galaxy A5. Jika tren ini terus berlanjut, kerugian operasional bisnis mobile LG kemungkinan akan berkurang satu triliun won dari tahun lalu," jelas analis KB Securities, Kim Dong-wan. 

Reaksi postif terhadap G6 itu langsung memunculkan kekhawatiran Samsung. "Langkah Samsung yang cukup aneh karena merilis iklan TV untuk Galaxy terlalu cepat, tampak sebagai upaya untuk mencegah LG mendominasi pasar smartphone premuim sebelum peluncuran Galaxy S8," demikian pendapat sejumlah analis yang dikutip oleh Phone Arena, Rabu (15/3/2017). Galaxy S8 sendiri diyakini akan diumumkan pada akhir bulan ini. Sedangkan penjualannya, baru akan digelar antara 21 atau 28 April.

Profil YASPEND PABA 

Yayasan Pendidikan Panca Abdi Bangsa yang dikenal luas di masyarakat dengan sebutan Yaspend PABA, didirikan Almarhum Ir Abdul Latief Syarifin,seorang tokoh pendidikan Sumatera Utara. Beliau juga salah seorang pendiri FakultasPertanian swasta ternama di kota Medan. 

Dengan cita-cita luhur dan impiannya untuk mencerdaskan anak bangsa, Ir. Abdul Latief Syarifin mendirikan yayasan pendidikan di tanah kelahirannya di Desa Karang Rejo, Kecamatan Stabat, Kabupaten Langkat, Sumut sebagai implementasi bekal ilmu pendidikan yang dimilikinya. 

Sesuai dengan akte notaris Hasnil Basri Hasibuan, SH Nomor:21 dengan ketetapan Pengadilan Negeri tertanggal 23 Juni 1983 di Binjai. Pendirian yayasan pendidikan ini bermula dari statusnya sebagai dosen dan dibantu sumbangsih pemikiran beberapa tokoh spiritual serta pendidikan ternama di Sumatera Utara, lahirlah keputusan mendirikan Yayasan Pendidikan yang diberi nama Panca Abdi Bangsa dikenal dengan sebutan Yaspend PABA pada tanggal 1 Januari 1983 di Kota Binjai. Saat itu proses belajar mengajar masih menumpang gedung pada sekolah agama Madrasah Thawalib, Jalan Tandur Bingkar,Kelurahan Kampung Binjai Kecamatan Binjai Kota. Awalnya masih membuka program pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Teknologi Pertanian (SMTP). 

Dua tahun kemudian, hijrah ke Desa Karang Rejo, Kecamatan Stabat,dengan menambah program studi yang baru yakni, SMP, SMA, SMEA dan SMT Pertanian. Bersamaan tahun 1985 itu, juga mendirikan gedung SMP dan SMA di Desa Tanjung Ibus,Kecamatan Secanggang, Kabupaten Langkat. Disinilah aktivitas Yaspend PABA mulai berkembang dengan memiliki gedung sekolah sendiri. 

Berkat keuletan dan kerja keras beliau mengembangkan dunia pendidikan, almarhum Ir. Abdul Latief Syarifin kembali mengembangkan sayap yayasannya dengan mendirikan PABA Binjai pada tahun 1986 di jalan Padang Sidempuan No. 8, Kelurahan Rambung Barat, Kecamatan Binjai Selatan, Kota Binjai, Sumut. Gedung Yaspend PABA Binjai mulanya berdiri diatas lahan 3200 m ( 8 rante), dengan 5 lokal dan didukung beberapa staf pengajar. Dengan keyakinan dan optimisme untuk memajukan PABA Binjai, pada tahun 1999, ruang kelas sekolah bertambah menjadi 20 lokal, dengan penambahan kegiatan belajar mengajar dilakukan pagi dan sore hari. 

Pada tahun itu juga tepatnya 4 Juli 1999, pendiri Yaspend PABA almarhum Ir. Abdul Latief Syahrifin kembali ke Rahmatullah dengan meninggalkan embrio pendidikan yang bermanfaat bagi generasi penerus bangsa. Keputusan untuk melanjutkan perjuangan beliau, pengurus yayasan menunjuk kepemimpinan baru yakni Hj. Sukartini Br Sitepu yang tak lain adalah isteri almarhum.Beliau (Hj. Sukartini) sangat paham akan pentingnya memajukan dunia pendidikan,khususnya di Yaspend PABA yang memiliki ciri khas tersendiri dalam membimbing putra/I terbaiknya yang menanamkan doktrin “PENGABDIAN”.
